At this time we do not have any plans to bring back the Lavender colored towels.

Yes the towels are color safe. You do not have to buy them in a whole set to purchase the individual towels please see item number 02-0331.

I sent a similar question to Gaiam a few days ago and got this response:
Our organic towels, while not Fair Trade items, are produced in Turkey . All manufacturers' that supply Gaiam with product provide humane and safe work environments.
