Calorie burn is based on your weight, age, and duration/intensity of the exercise. To effectively burn calories you need to be within your target heart rate for extended periods of time. Your target heart rate can be determined by online tools or by your physician.
Low-impact aerobics can burn about 6.2 calories a minute, jogging; 11 calories per minute , walking; 4.1 calories per minute. Keep in mind, however, that these are just rough averages and do not account for the variables described above.
