Does the hot water have to be boiled?
I already drink a lot of 'hot water' from the faucet (ours gets very hot)
not boilrd. Is it as effective as boiled water? I mean, my tap water's hot enough to make tea!

I don't think so, you have to boil the water to kill bacteria. Water from the faucet doesn't sound like a good idea

In order to effectively purify the water, it needs to be boiled.

I just watched the DVD for the first time
and the water is supposed to be boiled.
He explains how boiling removes toxins
and what you're left with is pure water.

Thank you for your question. You should not have to boil your drinking water, unless there is a problem with the water quality in your area. In general, the ayurvedic recommendation is that water should not be taken cold.
