I've been confused by some of the material online about indoor and apartment composting. I know that Gaiam advertises it as just a holder to transfer it to a "real" compost, but, is this able to be used to make compost too?
Thanks for your question. Because of the smallsize of the bucket, it is really not ideal for making compost. It is meant to hold your scraps before transferring to a large compost bin or compost pile.
