I can tell you, I use this rack EVERY day. It can hold 2- 3 large loads of laundry. I only machine dry our towels everything else gets air dryed on this rack, jeans, get hung on hangers and hung on the sides, socks, everything else gets hung on the inside. On non laundry days I fold the beautiful rack together and it stacks slim in the corner for air drying our daily shower/ bath towels....this is magnificent, made in vermont, sturdy. we have 2 one in the country, one in the city....10 stars out of this world..!! and supports several large size loads of laundry easily...it's sturdy as an oak tree...!!!!
