In this case it doesn't have any difference from a regular essential oil. The "diffuser" part of the description was added so it would pull up when diffusers are searched for on the website. I contacted the vendor to be sure because that isn't always the case. Sometimes a diffuser blend will indicate that its OK to inhale but is to irritating to the skin because it has been diluted with something to make it cheaper. This oil is therapeutic grade.
