Questions & Answers for D-Tox Foot Spa

Question
Why does it take 4 scoops of salt to make the water change color?
Model # 2000000 Used on 4 different people, 1 , 2 , 3 scoops, no color change in the water. (Can see the unit working) Finally 4 scoops SLIGHT color change. If the water doesn't change color, am I correct in assuming nothing has been removed from the foot? We are on well water and have a softner. Any advise would be appreciated.

what does the different colors in the water represent

The manufacturer states:
During the treatment the water colour will change, this will happen with or without your feet present in the water. The colour change is mainly due to the reaction of the salt water with the low frequency current being transmitted by the coil or cartridge. However, you may very well notice fatty substances floating on top of the water which is generally lymphatic drainage. The treatment stimulates and opens the pores or sweat glands on your feet which can very often be blocked or, at best be very inefficient.

Depending on the water quality, you can use one or two teaspoons of salt. Less salt will preserve the life of the array.

How many treatments will I get from the initial package of salt additive? You also state it is a low sodium salt- curious what that might mean?

This is enough salt for 30-50 treatments, depending on use. The salt is low sodium because it is based on magnesium chloride rather than sodium choride.
