I had my brows, lips and eyeliner tatooed. Will this light therapy turn my tatoos black? I know this isn't laser... I was warned to stay away from lasers for that reason.
I asked this very question when the vendor met with us. The vendor says that they are safe to use on tattoos. However being someone who has over a dozen tattoo's and is very familiar on how tattooing pigment works. I would be hesitant, the ink's they used in testing could be a different composition than the ones used in your work, so the end result may not be the same. I've always been told by tattoo artists that any dermatology treatments should be done prior to having work done because there is no way they can test ever ink's ingredient variation.
Thank you for your question. This is FDA approved, but not specifically tested to be used on pets. You may want to check with a vet to be sure they approve using this type of light therapy device.
