Since this Yoga DVD is supposed to help with flexibility and posture, do I have to perform warm up stretches before I do any of the poses on the DVD? Can I wake up in the morning and go right into the routine of poses?
No because Yoga is a practice made of stretching it is not necessary to stretch prior to doing the DVD. The DVD will lead you through a proper warm up before moving into deeper stretching.
This DVD includes a pose guide that makes it an excellent choice for beginners. If you need additional information, please contact us directly at customerservice@gaiam.com.
I'm assuming it's also used in the DVD version, though it doesn't say here. I've looked everywhere, but can't find either the tubular bolster used in this DVD or the rectangular one mentioned in one of the others.
For Yoga For Beginnners workout, we recommend a yoga mat, a yoga strap and a yoga block as props. For our entire selection of yoga props, please see the "Yoga Props" drop down in our Yoga Studio section.
I have fibromyalgia and have tried yoga. The first class I took caused great pain. I know that yoga can be good for me, but I know that I need to start slowly and go gently. Does this DVD allow for this?
