As long as these offer you enough support you can jog in them. Running shoes normally have added support to absorb some of the impact.

Question
Can you wear these shoes without socks?
I bought a size 8 but I normally wear an 8 1/2. My left foot is bigger than my right foot. There is about 1/2 inch give in the right front toe area and about 1/4 inch give in the left toe area. Should I have gotten an 8 1/2? The shoes feel ok but feel warm on my feet. If I was in a store I would have tried both sizes on and decided. What do you think?

I am answering my own question. After wearing my shoes for a few days, it is clear that the smaller size works fine. They seem to stretch to fit the feet.

In my other shoes I need an orthodic for my arches. Would this work in these? Is there much arch support?

These over some arch support. You could put an orthodic in these shoes but it would most likely stiffen the shoe to the point where it would defeat the purpose of the Flexisole design. If your ordering these mostly for look and not flexibility the orthodic should be fine.

These shoes generally run true to size. And this model in particular has some give. I would reccomend ordering a 5.5.
